Funeral and interment services for Mrs. Katherine T. Gares will be held in Paramus, NJ, under the direction of Vander Plaat Memorial Home. Mrs. Gares, 86, of Aiken, SC, a formerly of New Jersey, wife of the late Joseph Krenta and the late Howard Gares, died Thursday, afternoon, March 25, 2004 at her home. Born in Hoboken, NJ, a daughter of the late Fred and Annie Hammer Haug, she was had lived in New Jersey until relocating to Aiken, SC, two years ago. She was a housewife and was Lutheran. A son, Ronald and his wife Dolores Krenta, Aiken, SC; daughters, Kathleen and her husband Robert Gubitosi, Dimock, PA; and Deborah and her husband, Michael Roehrer, Kinnelon, NJ; ten grandchildren and sixteen great-grandchildren, survive
