Mrs. VanValkenburgh, 75, of Saugerties, NY, died Sunday, February 11, 2007 at the Benedictine Hospital in Kingston, NY. A daughter of the late Victor & Freda Irwin Cross, she was born in Woodland Valley, NY. She had lived in Aiken for a year during the mid-1980s and then returned to New York State. In addition to her parents, she was pre-deceased by a daughter; Airilee Blessing, a sister; Elsie Mae Cross and two brothers; Valmer Cross and W. Robert Cross. She is survived by her husband of fifty five years; Norman J. VanValkenburgh, Saugerties, NY, a son; Russell Louise VanValkenburgh, Middletown, PA, a son in law, Ronald Blessing, Aiken, SC, a sister; Gertrude Muller, Phoenicia, NY, a granddaughter; Airron McLeod, Grovetown, GA and two great-grandsons; Andrew & Rory McLeod.
