Stephen & Mary Anne,
You don't know me, but I was fortunate enough to have your Mom as my teacher in both 3rd and 5th grade. She was such a wonderful, nurturing woman...definitely one of my favorite teachers. I was a pretty shy and her caring nature helped me come out of my shell. She really wanted the best for her kids and it showed. Thank you for sharing her with all of us. She made such an impact on so many and was a terrific role model. You have my deepest sympathies on the loss of such a beautiful woman.

Steve and Mary Anne,
I met Mary at school. She asked me to go on a bus trip with her to Oglebay Park to see the lights. We have been good friends ever since (for over 25 years). I'll miss our conversations, but most of all I am going to miss Mary and our friendship.
I am so sorry for your loss.

I have such favorable memories of Mary when I visited Grandma Manor --as I was growing up. She was always so friendly and very kind to Grandma. I also worked with Mary when she helped out with the Consumer Protection Agency. As the librarian, I would call her and she was very helpful. I have great memories of all members of the Graff family. I offer my condolences to all of you.

Hi Donna, I appreciate your post very much. I remember your Dad very well and he was a good teacher. I was very young without a father and he taught me all about auto mechanics, plumbing, carpentry, brick laying, electrical,tv repair, etc. I was able to service things around the house for my mother and his teachings still come in handy today.

To the family of Mrs. Graff,
Our son had Mrs. Graff as a teacher in fifth grade. We had been trying since he was in first grade to have him held back. At the end of the year Mrs. Graff called us and said I do not think he is ready for sixth grade. Although it was the hardest thing we had to do to tell him, it was also the best. He did better in his studies and also in his social life. We ask that he have Mrs. Graff again as she was so caring and he like her so much. I think she made such a difference in his life. I know she was one of his favorite teachers.
