Lisa, I just heard about Joey from Susan on Facebook and I was so shocked and saddened. So hard to believe. I'm so sad and heartbroken for you. You are in my thoughts and prayers.
I am sorry to hear of your loss. One of the most difficult things we have to deal with is the death of a loved one. The Bible promise; "And he will wipe out every tear from their eyes and death will be no more. Neither will mourning nor outcry nor pain be anymore. The former things has passed away." (Revelation 21:4) The Bible gives us hope that one day our dead loved ones will be brought back to life. I hope this message offers comfort in your time of sadness.
Lisa and Family, So sad to read this about Joey. Old friends and sweet memories I will never forget! May you rest in peace Joey. My thoughts and prayers are with you all.
Joey is the guy that talked me into my first hiking experience with "the gang". He assured me that I could handle it with the other seasoned hikers. I was ill prepared equipment wise and once I arrived at his house, he helped me out to get me where I needed to be. He was like that always through high school and after. Always willing to help out, give guidance/advice, and in general one of the good guys. I'm sorry to hear of his passing. My love and wishes for many happy memories (as I have) for his friends and family.
Please know that Joe and I are very saddened to hear of Joey's loss with his hard fought battle. Lisa, Keith, and the Fox family, we were blessed with knowing Joey and will miss him, his presence, laughter, and great personality at "get togethers". Hopefully, in time, memories will give you peace.
Family and friends are coming together online to create a special keepsake. Every memory left on the online obituary will be automatically included in this book.
