Funeral services for Mrs. Ann K. Sharp will take place on Saturday, October 8, 2011 at 2pm at St. Thaddeus Episcopal Church, Aiken. The family will receive friends immediately after the service in the Stevenson McClelland Building, adjacent the church. . Mrs. Sharp, 78, of Aiken, died September 21, 2011 at her residence.
A daughter of the late Ellsworth Clair Klees and Leah Huntsinger Klees, she was born in Hegins, PA. Before moving to Aiken thirteen years ago, she had lived on Kiawah Island. She had been a member of St. Thaddeus Episcopal Church.
Ann was the devoted wife of Kenneth Sharp and worked closely at his side during both his theological and business careers. Upon retirement, Ann and Ken traveled the world extensively enjoying their mutual love and companionship.
In addition to here parents, she was predeceased by her husband, The Rev. Kenneth J. Sharp. She is survived by two sons; Gregory Sharp and Peter Joycelyn Sharp, and three grandchildren; Andrew, Stephen and Hadley.
