I knew Darren Taplin here in kalamazoo, mi, back in the 70's. Then his name was Gary, he was my very 1st boyfriend. I loved him so much , he was so talented, funny and very witty. I often wondered what became of him..sounds like he was happy. I have always missed him..thought he moved to California, but guess not. My heart goes out to his family, most of all to his partner.
