Funeral services for Frederick Eugene Rollins, 84, of Aiken, will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, January 21, 2017 at the Chapel of GEORGE FUNERAL HOMES. Officiating will be Pastor Dale Reeves. Burial will follow in Southlawn Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Doug Lamer, Houston Kirkbride, Dallas Case, Todd Kirkbride, Ira Johnson and Steve Wise. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service. Mr. Rollins, passed away on Wednesday, January 18, 2017. Born in Jasper, TN, he was a son of the late Fred and Belva Turnmire Rollins. Mr. Rollins attended Matlock Baptist Church and was the former owner of Rolo Shuttle. He enjoyed traveling and gardening. In addition to his wife and parents, he was preceded in death by two daughters, Cherly Merriett and Brenda Williams. Survivors include a son, Dewitt Rollins of Aiken; a daughter, Kay Kirkbride of Aiken, 6 grandchildren, Dallas Case, Austin Case, Houston Kirkbride, Tabby Johnson, Stephanie Becker and Shelby Wise and 9 great-grandchildren.
