A memorial service for Mrs. Ann Maude Reed will be held Friday, December 30, 2005 at 4:00 PM at George Funeral Homes, Historic Downtown Chapel, 211 Park Ave., SW, Aiken, SC, with David Grimes officiating. Mrs. Reed, of Aiken, SC, died Wednesday, morning, December 28, 2005 at Pepperhill Nursing Center, Aiken, SC. Born in Todd, NC, she was a daughter of the late Coy and Maggie Wilcox Goodman. She had been a Beautician before she was in a terrible auto accident. Mrs. Reed had been a resident of Williston, SC, from 1952, where she was a member of Williston Church of Christ, until she entered Pepperhill in 1999. Before her health failed she enjoyed shopping, sewing, and gardening. She is survived by a daughter, Phyllis Hudson, Darryl Aiken, SC; son, Earl Dean Reed, Columbia, SC; sister, Georgia Osborne, Sparta, NC; and granddaughters, Elise Reed, Perri Reed, and Amber Broome.
