Ms. Greene,
L.C. hired me at the Town of Winnsboro in 1986 and I will forever be grateful to him for the chance to work there. He was also instrumental in the hiring of my husband, Sam, who worked for Metcalf & Eddy, Water and Wastewater Plants Contractors for the Town of Winnsboro and Sam also is still working for the Town. He was an excellent teacher of life in general and I learned from him great office technique and how to perform my duties efficiently. Our prayers and deepest sympathy are with you and your family.

My sincerest condolences to Colleen and the family. I was station at Aiken AFS, SC with L.C. in the late 60s. Better yet, I had the priviledge of playing 3rd base and catcher for him. L.C. was one of the two most influential people in my 24-year Air Force career. I was a mere 22 years old when I met L.C. and he spent the next few years protecting me from my own stupidity. I spent many a moments over the years remembering him and I can still chuckle over how he would approach me with that tough guy, First Sergeant demeanor, with that twinkle in his eyes. You couldn't help but love the man and go to the wall for him.
L.C. and his family will certainly be in our prayers.

Dear Greene Family; LC was my first sergeant at the 766th Radron at Caswell AFS Maine in 1967-1968.
He was a great supervisor, a true gentleman and a very competent Non Commissioned Officer. I have fond memories of him even after 40+ years. My thoughts are with you all.

To the Family:
L.C. hired me as the Town Attorney in Lexington about seven years ago. He was a tremendous help to me in "learning the ropes" of municipal government. He was also very kind to my family. As a kindergarten student, my daughter Lauren dressed up as L.C. for Halloween several years ago!
L.C. was a valued friend and colleague, and will be missed by many people here in Lexington.

We extend our sympathies to the family ! Mr Greene interviewed me and gave me my first job at Aiken County EMS 32 years ago. My wife had the pleasure of working with L. C. also. He was such a gentleman and anytime we would see him over the years he always had a kind word and something positive to say. We are keeping you in our prayers and rejoice knowing that L.
