The Boswells were my next door neighbors in 1955 on George Street in Crosland Park. Like my family, they had moved into one of the new Crosland Park houses which were built as homes for the new managers and scientists of the Savannah River Plant. I was in the fourth grade and delighted in knowing my next door neighbors who, among other things, were experienced aquarists. They had a mated pair of angel fish who lived in a forest of amazon plants in an aquarium in their front room. The angels were raising a family as were the herd of guppies in the tank next to them. Jim and June gave me a few of their guppies, starting me off on a life-long adventure with tropical fish. June Boswell is a dear and charming lady and her passed relatives and maybe even my own mom and dad are, no doubt, welcoming her to her new home with joy even as we who remain struggle to accept her moving on. Please convey my family's condolences to Jim Boswell and his family.
