Funeral services for James R. "Robbie" Bell will be held Monday July 9, 2007 at 11am at Cedar Creek Church, 3001 Banks Mill Road, with Pastor Richard Swift officiating. Pallbearers will be: Todd Heath, Brad Stauffer, Alan Wise, Larry Hendrix, Ron Pope, Everett Workman, Mike Cornwell and Mike Cutlery. Honorary Pallbearers will be the Cedar Creek Church Ushers. Interment will follow at Bethany Cemetery. Visitation will be Sunday from 5-7pm at George Funeral Home and Cremation Center, 211 Park Ave, SW Aiken. Mr. Bell, 46, of Aiken, died Friday at MUSC, Charleston. A son of Mr. James Robert Bell, Sr. and Mrs. Diane Donovan Bell, Robbie was born and lived his entire life in Aiken. He graduated from Aiken High School in 1980. He was a former member of the Aiken Jaycees from 1979 to 1987 and served on the Board of Directors from 1982-1986. He served as an usher at Cedar Creek Church and was an avid fan of the South Carolina Gamecocks and NASCAR Racing. Robbie married the love of his life, DiAnn Todd in 1984. He was employed as a service technician with ADT Security of Aiken. In addition to his wife and parents, Robbie is survived by three children; Eric Katie Proctor, Aiken, Todd Crystal Proctor, Charleston, Justin Stephanie Bell, Petaluma, CA, one sister; Donna Kenneth Fisher, Warrenville, and one brother; Marty Karen Bell, Aiken.
