A Funeral Mass for Mrs. Marian Bentz will be celebrated on Saturday, January 24, 2009 at 11am at St. Mary Help of Christians Catholic Church. Interment will be private. The family will receive friends on Friday, January 23, 2009 from 6-8pm with a wake service at 7:30 at George Funeral Home & Cremation Center, 211 Park Ave, SW, Aiken. Mrs. Bentz, 89, of Aiken, died Monday, January 19, 2009 at Mattie C. Hall Health Care. Born in Canby, MN, she was the daughter of the late Leonard and Catherine Lindemann Lentz. She moved to Aiken in 2001 from Port Saint John, FL. While in Florida she worked as a sales agent in real estate and was active in a senior dancing group. She was a parishioner at St. Mary Help of Christian Catholic Church. In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by three sisters and five brothers. She is survived by her daughter, Barbara William Sulzen, Barnwell, SC; son, Richard J. Bentz, Dallas, TX; seven grandchildren, and nineteen great grandchildren.
