Funeral service for Mrs. Myrtle Youngblood Starnes Coleman will be at 2pm on Sunday, July 16, 2006 at George Funeral Home & Cremation Center 211, Park Avenue, SW, Aiken. Interment will follow at Aiken Memorial Gardens. Visitation will be tonight from 6-8pm at the funeral home. Memorial contributions may be directed to the American Heart Association or the Connie Maxwell Children?s Home fund. Mrs. Coleman, 87, of Aiken, died Friday, July 14, 2006 at Aiken Regional Medical Centers. Born in Williston, SC to the late G. A. and Clarie Gardner Youngblood, she had lived in Williston before moving to Aiken in 1945. Mrs. Coleman was a 1954 graduate of the Draughon?s Business College and was retired from Harvey Hubbell. If asked, she would identify herself as a homemaker who adored her husband, children and grandchildren. In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by her first husband, Chester Starnes and a brother, Olin Youngblood. Mrs. Coleman is survived by her husband, C.T. Coleman, Sr., Aiken; two daughters, Gloria Starnes Victor Kotowski, Aiken, Donna Starnes Charles Smith, Aiken; three granddaughters, Allison Kotowski, Clairissa Smith Jacob Wells, and Lindsey Smith; two great-granddaughters, Sydney Clair Wells and Whitney Wells, two brothers; Sam Edward Youngblood and Thomas Watson Youngblood and three sisters, Eunice Youngblood Daniel, Florine Youngblood Carter, Eloise Youngblood Mundy. .
