Funeral services for Mrs. Myrtie Ella Brown Day Broadway will be held Tuesday, December 23, 2003 at 2 PM at Shiloh Baptist Church, Aiken, SC, with Pastors Louie Anderson& Taylor Wells officiating. Pallbearers will be Jerry and Phillip Hatcher, Tommy Salley, Bill Conaway, Wallace Seigler, and John Weseman. Interment will follow in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends Tuesday, December 23, 2003 from 1 until the hour of service at the church. There will be no visitation at the funeral home. Mrs. Broadway, 95, of Saluda, SC and formerly of Aiken, SC, widow of Floyd Broadway, died Saturday, morning, December 20, 2003 at Saluda Nursing Center, Saluda, SC. Born in Aiken County, SC, she was a daughter of the late Ollie and Hassie Fulmer Brown. She was a homemaker and a member of Shiloh Baptist Church. For the past eight years she had lived in Saluda, SC, with her son, Seyborn and his wife, Loretta Day, and daughter, the late Doris Day Snipes. Additional survivors include four grandchildren, five great-grandchildren, one great great grandchild, nieces, nephews, and many loved ones. The family has requested that memorials in memory of Mrs. Broadway be made to Shiloh Baptist Church, 3925 Shiloh Church Rd., Aiken, SC 29805.
