Patsy,
Aunt Katie will live always in my memories of Sundays at "the brick house" when I was a kid! When I close my eyes, I can see the rooms, smell the homey smells, feel the nervousness of that "tombstone" in the basement!
She was an awesome cook -- cheese lasagna to die for. I've *never* had lasagna that good to this day.
She was also very generous...holidays were always fun & action-packed for us kids.
She fits right in with my memories of Uncles Ernest & Charlie, and of course, Grandma Anna.
May the one true G-d bless them all in His greatness, and we pray for your health, too!
