Funeral services for Mrs. Janice T. Wood will be held Wednesday, January 18, 2006 at 2pm at George Funeral Homes, Historic Downtown Chapel, 211 Park Ave., SW, Aiken, SC, with Revs. James Kirk and Charles Yoho officiating. Interment will follow in Aiken Memorial Gardens. Pallbearers will be Johnny Campbell, Eddie Campbell, Michael Frady, Danny Kimball, David Kimball, and Willie Sizemore. The family will receive friends Tuesday, January 17, 2006 from 7-9 pm at George Funeral Homes, Historic Downtown Chapel. Mrs. Wood, 48, of Aiken, died Sunday, January 15, 2006 at Aiken Regional Medical Centers. She was a lifelong resident of Aiken and was retired as a supervisor in the Dietary Department at Aiken Regional Medical Centers. She had been a member of Memorial Baptist Church her entire life. Mrs. Wood is predeceased by her father, William Thompson. She is survived by her husband of thirty years, David Wood; son, Elliott Wood, Aiken; daughters, Denise Michael Frady, Aiken, and Tiffany Wood, Aiken; mother, Martha Jane Pickett Thompson, Aiken; sister Cynthia Willie Sizemore, New Ellenton, and grandchildren, Michael Frady, Jr. and Christopher Frady.
