Funeral services for Mrs. Ruth Burch Wright will be held Tuesday, October 11, 2005 at 4 PM at Redds Branch Baptist Church, Aiken, SC, with Pastor Charles Wilson and Evangelist Danny Wright officiating. Mrs. Wright will be placed in the church at 3 PM Tuesday. Interment will follow in the church cemetery. Pallbearers will be Mrs. Wright?s grandsons. The family will receive friends tonight Monday, October 10, 2005 from 6 until 8 PM at George Funeral Homes, Historic Downtown Chapel, 211 Park Ave., SW, Aiken, SC. Mrs. Wright, 74, of Aiken, SC, died Saturday afternoon, October 8, 2005, at Aiken Regional Medical Centers. Born in Augusta, GA, a daughter of the late Tummy and Ruby Kitchens Burch, she lived in Beech Island, SC, prior to relocating to Aiken, in 1970. Mrs. Wright was a member of Warrenville Revival Center and enjoyed going to yard sales, working with crafts, and watching her fish and birds. She is survived by daughters Yvonne W. Baker, Jack L. and Annette W. Stone, Richard both of Aiken, SC; sons, Danny R. Wright, Sr., the late Dottie Byron Earl Wright, Sr., Betty and Joseph William Wright, all of Aiken, SC; twenty grandchildren and eighteen great-grandchildren. Husbands, Henry Earl Wright and Clarence Moon and a son, Lawrence Wright, preceded her in death.
