Graveside Funeral services for Mrs. Doris Dailey will be held Tuesday February 6, 2007 at 2:30PM at Westover Cemetery, Augusta, GA with Pastor Gary Cobb officiating. Visitation will be Monday evening from 6-8pm at George Funeral Home and Cremation Center 211 Park Ave. SW Aiken. Mrs. Dailey 84, of Augusta, died Saturday February 3, 2007 at University Hospital in Augusta. A daughter of the late Aubrey Carpenter and Rosa Wise Carpenter, she was born and raised in the Talatha Community of Aiken County. She graduated High school in Aiken County in 1939. She then moved to Augusta in 1942 and went to work for the Riverside Carpet Mills in 1944 until she retired in 1977. She was a member of the Southgate Baptist Church. In addition to her parents she was also predeceased by her husband, Tramel James Dailey, one son Ray D. Dailey, a brother, Aubrey Ray Carpenter and a sister, Lucille Jenkins. Mrs. Dailey is survived by two sons, Reese Jean Dailey, Jackson, SC and Jimmy Dailey, Tampa, FL. She is also survived by three grandsons, Ray Dailey, Hardwick GA, Mickey Solomon , Jackson SC and Jerrod Solomon, stationed in Iraq and one great grandson Raymond Solomon, Jackson, SC.
