AIKEN, SC- A Requiem Mass for Eleanore R. Jensen, will be celebrated at 12 p.m. Thursday, October 15, 2015 at the Old Saint Mary Help of Christian Catholic Church with Father Art Dalupang as celebrant. Burial will follow at Calvary Cemetery. The family will receive friends prior to the service in Smith Hall adjacent to the church from 10:30 until 11:45. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations in memory of Eleanore Jensen may be made payable to the St. Vincent de Paul Fund, PO Box 438, Aiken, SC 29802. Mrs. Jensen, 86, of Aiken, passed away on Friday, October 9, 2015. Born in Northbrook, Illinois, she was a daughter of the late Louis and Regina Siffert Reeb. Mrs. Jensen was a communicant of St. Mary Help of Christians Catholic Church. She was a loving mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, and friend. She was an avid bridge player and gardener. Mrs. Jensen was married to the late Edward R. Jensen, who passed away in 2002. She was also preceded in death by a son, Douglas Jensen (Brenda), three sisters and two brothers. Survivors include a daughter, Christine Stucko (James) of Aiken; sons, Robert Jensen (Susan) of Maple Park, Ill., and Edward Jensen (Peg) of Wheaton, Ill., a brother, Dr. Kenneth Reeb (Mary) of Raleigh-Durham, N.C.; nine grandchildren, Andrea, Jens, Ryan, Katherine, Elizabeth, Cody, Margaret, Eleanore and Andrew, and two great-grandchildren, Ila and Cedar.
