I worked for Vernon for several years at his various auto upholstery shops. He was a wonderful man who taught me so much about the business and life in general! He will be remembered as a "mentor" to many of us who had the pleasure of knowing him.
Vernon will be missed by all of us...
I recall how he chuckled as he helped me chase an unruly horse around his property in the hopes of enhancing the animal\'s "new" training program. Ha!
And the goats - the newborn twins that kept arriving and how he teased me as I strived to feed each one. Oh, the trips to the grocery store to buy goat\'s milk...
The appreciation I felt at all the knowledge he shared with each of his employees - my brother included.
And his spirit - what a great spirit he had when times got rough.
He will be missed deeply!

For all the guidance he lent my son; the continuing friendship he maintained after the business relationship ended; the gifts he shared to all those who knew him; for the heart; Vernon will be missed!
