Dear Joey - Since meeting Johnny in 2011 on the course and playing golf with him many times, I always told him he was my hero. I witnessed a hole in one, and shot off a wooden bridge into a hole for an eagle and was with him when he shot his age several times. Then I learned he was leading a platoon on the German border on horseback 22 miles a night the year I was born in 1945. Wow. I listened to him and watched him. He was totally professional, never negative, always positive... a true role model. It was a privilege for me to know him and I will always remember and respect him. You are in our thoughts at this difficult time. Roger Loughran
