A memorial Mass for Maureen Roberts Dusch will be celebrated at 11am on Monday, July 2, 2007 at St. Mary Help of Christians Catholic Church, Aiken, SC. The family will receive friends immediately after the mass at Smith hall, adjacent the church. Interment will be private. Memorial donations may be directed to the ministry of Fr. Gade Show Reddy, Post Box NO-1701 Secunderabad 500-003 A. P. India. George Funeral Home & Cremation Center, 211 Park Ave. SW, Aiken is assisting the family.
Mrs. Dusch, 67, died Thursday, June 28, 2007 at Aiken Regional Medical Centers. A daughter of the late Francis Joseph Roberts and Irene Marie Miles Roberts, she was born in Philadelphia, PA and had lived in Sterling Heights, MI before moving to Aiken five years ago. Before retiring she had been an assistant office manager for Phillips-Magnavox and General Electric. She had been a communicant of St. Ephrem Catholic Church in Sterling Heights and was a Stephens Minister and a CCD teacher. She was a communicant of St. Mary Help of Christians Church in Aiken and had been an office volunteer. She had also enjoyed bowling and playing golf until her health failed.
She is survived by her husband of almost 48 years, Robert Dusch, Sr., Aiken; two sons, Robert Dusch, Jr., Hamburg, NY and Richard Dusch, Detroit, MI; two daughters, Jacqueline Phillips, Chesterfield, MI and Megan Dusch, Royal Oak, MI; four brothers, Fran Roberts, Burlington, NC, Ken Roberts, Philadelphia, PA, Al Roberts, Philadelphia, PA, Dave Roberts, N. Pomo, CA; a sister, Kay Regan, Philadelphia, PA; five grandchildren, Alison and Vince Dusch, Hamburg, NY and Jammie and Matt Storing, Chesterfield, MI and Angie Dusch, Sterling Heights, MI. Mrs. Dusch was also survived by a great granddaughter, Shylin Dusch, Sterling Heights, MI.
