Funeral services for Mrs. Lois Jane Gearman will be held from the graveside in Elvira Cemetery, Elvira, IA, under the direction of Snell-Zornig Funeral Home, Clinton, IA. Mrs. Gearman, 86, of Aiken, SC, formerly of Clinton, IA, died Monday, morning, August 25, 2003 at Pepper Hill Nursing and Rehabilitation Center, Aiken, SC. Born in Elvira, IA, a daughter of the late William and Amalia Christiansen Seamer, and was Lutheran. She had been a resident of Clinton, IA, for many years, where she and her late husband, Lyle Henry Gearman, ran Clinton Recreation Lanes. A son, William Gearman, Aiken, SC; daughter, Jane Giles, Titusville, FL; five grandchildren and two great-grandchildren, survive.
