Wow, I have so many good things to say about Bob, but so little space. Growing up two houses down, I spent a lot of time at the Shubert homestead. I'll always recall Bob as being a kind, generous, and funny guy. Even many years later, when I had lost contact with most of the "old neighborhood" kids, I somehow re-connected with Bob on a printing project that I was working on. He helped me out enormously and taught me many valuable tricks of the trade. My deepest condolences to his wonderful wife Dorothy, his children Doug, Karen (some of my earliest childhood friends), and their "baby brother" Bob Jr. Farewell old friend and neighbor. Your memory will never be forgotten!

Not only a neighbor, I worked for Bob and Dorothy Shubert for many years at Triart...He was a vibrant, creative, funny and caring man who worked hard and was a wonderful father and husband. His generosity gave me my start in the graphics field...we had a lot of laughs and there are many times in my life that I think back to my time with Mr. Shubert...rest in peace...my thoughts and prayers are always with you..xxooo Dale

Bob's love - of creativity, children, and helping others - turned into endearing wooden toys that hundreds and hundreds of children now treasure. Endlessly inventive, Bob designed whirligigs, animal clocks and banks, checkerboard sets, jigsaw puzzles, lamps, music boxes and more. Whether children assembled and painted these projects themselves or volunteers did so before donating them, Bob's legacy lives on, in children's toy boxes and in the hearts of every adult privileged to touch one of Bob's ingenious creations.
With love always, Susie

The best brother anyone can have. Bob got me started in my own business in screen printing back in 1973. Because of him, over the last 40 years my wife and I had a successful business and a wonderful life. Bob worked very hard all his life and fought his illness with the same drive. He is my mentor, the great memories I have as his brother will live on forever in my heart. He rests now in the arms of his Lord forever comforted for eternity. So long Bro! You are the best of the best!
Bro John and wife Geraldine
