Eric,
I just wanted to let you know how sorry I am for your loss. No words can express it or make it better, but I did want you to know how much you and Joanie have meant to me over the years. Heck, you knew me when I was a teenager, and loved me anyway!
I wanted to come to the visitation tonight to hug your neck, but I am sick and don\'t want to spread it around.
It meant so much to us when you went to the funeral home with us when Daddy died. You were there for us in a way not many friends would be and I wish I could do the same for you. But do know that you are in my heart and in my prayers.
