My thoughts and prayers go out to the Blitchington family. Wanda was such an encouraging person. Such a heart of gold. I worked with her for many years at Walmart and sometimes she was that calming voice, a voice of reason or the one to make me laugh to make it through the day. After Walmart, she was still those things and more. She will be missed but not forgotten. Rest on my friend!

During the time my daughter and I lived in Aiken, Wanda was our life saver as our pet sitter. We had two rescue dogs, high on energy and long on love. Wanda was devoted to them and to us, she was our friend and our dogs' favorite person in the whole world. Not only would she care for our precious pets, she would wash any dishes we left behind, sweep floors, and straighten up the living room. My favorite memory of Wanda was our return early from a trip to find Wanda on our reclining chair with two dogs firmly ensconced on her lap watching Animal Planet. That memory brings me such joy today as I remember a wonderful woman. She has remained with us since we left Aiken for adventures in Washington DC, Maryland, and our return to our home in Massachusetts. Through FACEBOOK, she connected with us, sharing our ongoing adventures with our two dogs and sharing our grief when they passed. A very special lady who will be greatly missed.

Wanda was the best friend anyone could have. I've known her since Kindergarten, we had slumber parties, spent our summers at one of her favorite places Palmetto Bible Camp & have remained friends through the years. I have many sweet memories of our time together and will cherish them always. I know she is rejoicing with her Mom and Dad who were two of the best people I was fortunate enough to know.
