Graveside services for Mrs. Ellen Moloney Watkins will be held on Thursday, August 16, 2007 at 10am at Aiken Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends tonight Wednesday from 6 - 8 pm at George Funeral Home & Cremation Center, 211 Park Avenue, SW, Aiken. Mrs. Watkins, 96, of Walterboro, SC, died Sunday, August 12, 2007 at Veterans Victory House Nursing Home, Walterboro. Born in Dwight, IL, she was the daughter of the late Thomas J. and Ellen Reel Moloney. She had lived in the Aiken area since the mid 1970's. She was a communicant of St. Mary Help of Christians Catholic Church. Ellen was one of the Pink Lady's at Aiken Regional Medical Center. She enjoyed bridge and Mahjong. She served as a nurse in the Army. In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by her husband, Walter Watkins. She is survived by her great nieces, Susan John Donnelly, Evans, GA, Laurie Toby Reese, Aiken, Carol Tarras, Lake Forest, IL, great nephews Jay Lawhead, Aiken, and Tom Pauline Lawhead, Windsor.
