Memorial services for Donald Clinton Snyder, 77, of Aiken, will be held at 10 am Tuesday, May 20th, 2014, at the Chapel of GEORGE FUNERAL HOME. Officiating will be Rev. Dr. Christopher Crotwell. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to South Aiken Presbyterian Church, 1711 Whiskey Road, Aiken, SC, 29803 or Savannah River Cancer Foundation, 235 Barnwell Ave., NW, Aiken, SC, 29801. Born in Pittsburg, PA, he was a son of the late Gaylord and Dorothy McCay Snyder. Mr. Snyder graduated with a BSEE from Carnhegie Institue of Technology. He was a Staff Sergeant with the US Army Reserves, past member of the Illinois Jaycees and Masonic Mountain Lodge of NY and an active member of S. Aiken Presbyterian Church. Survivors include his loving wife, Mary Maben Snyder of Aiken; a son, David Snyder (Deborah) of Alpharetta, GA; a daughter, Jill Swing (Kenn) of Charleston, SC; a brother, Delbert Snyder (Joan) of Sicklerville, NJ; grandchildren, Jane and Henry Snyder of Alpharetta, GA, Winfield and Mary Louise Swing of Charleston, SC.
