I was a childhood friend. I met and played baseball with Dickie. I was on his team for a few years. I admired his confident pitching abilities and his tenacity playing baseball! I will always remember Dickie.

I knew "Dicky" since the 7th grade. We always looked up to him. He was a good friend and a great athelte. We will miss him. God bless you and your family.
I first met Dickie playing pee wee football in fifth grade. We also played Pony League baseball on the same team and were both in the Aiken High School Class of 1966. Dickie was a very likeable person who always seemed to be smiling. My deepest condolences.
