A memorial service for William Melvin Stichert will be held on Thursday, March 17th at 11am at George Funeral Homes Historic Downtown Chapel, 211 Park Ave. SW Aiken. Memorial donations may be made to the American Lung Association in his memory. Mr. Stichert, 56, of Aiken, died Monday, March 14, 2005 at Aiken Regional Medical Centers. A lifelong resident of Aiken, he was an automotive technician. He served in the United States Army during the Viet Nam Conflict. He is survived by three children, William D. Stichert, Ardmore, OK, Sylvia Bosseboeuf, Ardmore, OK and Sarah Laguna, Newport, NC, his mother, Vivian Peacock Stichert, Aiken, two brothers; Jimmy & Johnny Stichert, Both of Aiken and four grandchildren, Brittni, Jalen, McKaila and Nathaniel.
