Services for Mr. Joel Cary Hinson will be private and are under the direction of George Funeral Home & Cremation Center, 211 Park Avenue, SW Aiken. Mr. Hinson, 38, of Jackson, died Saturday February 17, 2007 at University Hospital, Augusta, GA. A son of Earl M. Hinson and Geneva Spell Byrd, he was born in Jacksonville Florida and had lived in Mauldin, SC before moving to Jackson last year. He was an owner operator truck driver for Central Refrigerated Services. He was predeceased by a brother William David Byrd. Mr. Hinson is survived by his wife, Katherine Moody Hinson, Jackson; a daughter, Victoria Hinson, Mauldin, SC; a son Gregory Hinson, Boiling Springs, SC; his mother Geneva David Byrd, Mauldin, SC; his father Earl M. Betsy Hinson, Newport, NC and his maternal grandmother Mollie Spell, Simpsonville, SC.
