I attended the old USC AIken and Mr Caspar was a great friend and help to a struggling Freshman. Obvioulsy he was also a visionary. Look at the beautiful school now. Thanks Bill.
I was one of Bill\\\'s students in 1963. I remember what a poor student I was and I remember how kind he was in spite of it! I\\\'ve done much better since then and he deserves some of the credit. BTW, this software doesn\\\'t do well when we use quote marks.

Mr. Casper played such a vital role in establishing the USC Aiken campus into the University that is has become today. All of us at USC Aiken are grateful for his love for USC Aiken and his commitment to making the campus the best it could be! He will long be remembered for all of the wonderful work he did -- work that will benefit the students and alumni of the University and the Aiken community for many years to come!
