To the Arnott family:
I met Mrs. Arnott several times, and I liked her very much. She still seemed youthful, although she was the same age as my own mother. I have been a friend of David's for many years, and you all have my most sincere sympathy. I wish I could help you all in this time of sorrow. Peace to you, David, and your family.

I first met Fran at art class and when she stopped classes we would meet for lunch with another friend and artist.
Fran always had a smile and an easy laugh.
