Funeral services for Mrs. Frances E. Stewart will be held Wednesday, November 12, 2003 at 2 PM at George Funeral Homes, Historic Downtown Chapel, 211 Park Ave., SW, Aiken, SC, with Pastor Tony Garrett officiating. Interment will follow in the Earle Church of God Cemetery, Aiken, SC. Pallbearers will be Dewayne Moseley, Jody Moseley, Casey Hook, Henry Stewart, and Joseph Watson. The family will receive friends Tuesday, November 11, 2002 from 6-8 PM at the funeral home. Mrs. Stewart, 88, of Aiken, SC, wife of the late Henry J. Stewart, died Sunday, evening, November 9, 2003 at Aiken Regional Medical Centers. Born in and a lifelong resident of Aiken County, SC, she was a daughter of the late Walter and Sarah Bodie Huff. She was a retired after many years of service as a Dietician at Camp Gravatt and was a member of Earle Church of God. Daughters, Pearl Cantrell, Charleston, SC and Betty Stallings, Jackson, SC; sisters, Minnie Altman, Vaucluse, SC and Roxie Matthews, Aiken, SC; grandchildren, Roy Stewart, John Hook, Gene Cantrell, Elaine Watson, Jeanie Moseley, Tim Hook, Chris Cantrell, and Mike Cantrell, ten great-grandchildren and two great-great-grandchildren, survive The family has requested memorials in memory of Mrs. Stewart be made to the Alzheimer?s Association, c/o the Council on Aging, P.O. Box 3156, Aiken, SC 29802.
