Dear Mr. Jim and Ms. Shelvie,
I am so sorry for your loss. I have no words that can express my sympathy. I saw Jimbo several times a week when he was working at By Pass shell here in Oxford. I enjoyed visiting with him. I made sure to tell him how much his mom and dad meant to me when I lost my dad. I'll never forget those rounds of golf and mostly the encouragement that I received when I needed it most. Those were special times to me provided by special people. I wish I could be there to repay you somehow. I'm thinking of you. God Bless and keep you. Bobby

Mr. and Mrs. Hutchinson,
We can not begin to know your sorrow or what words will be a comfort, so we simply want you to know that our thoughts and prayers are with you. We also want you to know how very much we appreciated being able to know Jim and both of you for a short time. He was God's gracious provision to us in a time of crisis. If there is anything we pray for our own son, it is that he would be a Godly man who is a blessing to the lives of others. Jim was such a man. I read a verse the other day that seems so appropriate to the times we are in and thought about Jim. It is Isaiah 57:1-2 "...devout men are taken away, and no one understands that the righteous are taken away to be spared from evil.NIV Who knows when the Lord may come and the rest of us will get to be with Him. Jim is with Him now. Our prayer is that God will strengthen you and give you peace and comfort in that knowledge.

Mr. & Mrs. Hutchinson: I have no words that make any sense to say and no way to understand your grief. I just long for the day when we will all be reunited in a place where there is no more pain or sorrow or tears.

I was extremely saddened to learn of the death of your son. Although it has been may years since I have seen your family, I have always thought of them as my extended family and will always cherish the memories of the time I spent with Ann and your Mom growing up. Your will be in my prayers and God Bless.

Jim - We had the best of memories growing up. Thanks for "taking up" for me when I was backed in a corner. You were always encouraging me and supporting me. I tell you what, I'll catch up with you in heaven, and we will race our cars, again. I bet you will win this time!

Jim always had a hug, a big smile and a word of encouragement every time our paths crossed. It broke my heart when I learned of his death, but I know he and Jeff are having a big time in Heaven. He will be missed!
