Bob Allday passed from this world a couple of moons ago now, but for some hearts it will always feel like yesterday. To Ms. Lorraine, Debbie, Scarlett, and Steven, words can never match love. Words fall away, love never dies. Proof enough that the soul exists beyond this world in which we still walk.
Bobby Allday was a good man. He was a deeply loving husband and father. He worked hard every day and he was honest. He was patient. He was a natural teacher who taught many people many things. And he taught by example.
Five Oaks Quarter Horse Horse Farm, one of the very best parts of my childhood.
Since those carefree days riding and romping around Five Oaks, I have traveled more than my fair share of this amazing and still mad wild world. I have met many many many people, some good and some not so good. Bobby Allday is as good a person as I have ever met. Truly. He just "got it". He understood life, and lived it kindly and productively. You can see this in the lives of all he touched. I never realized how much he had touch mine.
Here's to you Mr Allday! Thank you so very much.

To my dad: I miss you so much and can't believe god needed to take you from us. I promise to use your teachings, your guidance to help me continue with strength, honesty and love. You are my foundation, who I am. You're passing was such a shock to everyone, I don't think your family knew what to say in good-bye but your family loves you.....you know that! There were so many things I could have, should have said but really, still hadn't accepted you are no longer with me. God, I miss you so much & it's painful. I cry a lot only wanting you back so I can love you, talk to you, get your advice on a horse, a dog..it's the most difficult thing I've ever had to do.....I love you daddy.

I had the wonderful pleasure of meeting Mr. Allday about one year ago. I was immediately impressed by his love and passions, whch were his family and his horses. I spent a few hours listening to his stories, and when I left I always thought here was a man with a full life and a wonderful family. It amazes me that he could have such an impact on my life with our few brief meetings. I deeply regret not making more trips to see him and his wife, he was an amazing man and I am glad to have known him.
