Mr. Neal Arminus Thompson, Jr., 70, beloved husband of Barbara Thompson, passed away on Wednesday, March 12, 2014. Memorial services will be held at 11:00 AM Saturday, March 15, 2014, in the Chapel of GEORGE FUNERAL HOME. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Fisher House, One Freedom Way, Augusta, Georgia, 30904. Born in Newark Valley, NY., he was a son of the late Neal & Laura Sayman Thompson. He was a US Army Veteran of both the Korean Conflict and the Vietnam War. He was a retired Heavy Equpiment operator with SRS and owned Neal's Auto Service in Couchton. Mr. Thompson was preceded in death by two sons, Terry & David Thompson. Surviors include his loving wife, Barbara Doyle Thompson of N. Augusta; a daughter, Laura Boudreaux of Durham, NC; a son, Michael Shane Thompson of Aiken; grandchildren, Kirstin & Kindyll Thompson and Joshua & Caitlan Boudreaux.
