Mr. Robert William Rapp, 84, of Aiken, died Wednesday February 17, 2010 at Pepper Hill Nursing Home, Aiken Private graveside funeral services will take place at All Saints Anglican Church Cemetery. George Funeral Home & Cremation Center, Inc. is assisting the family. Memorial donations may be directed to All Saints Anglican Church, 110 Fairfield St. NE, Aiken, SC 29801 A son of the late Herbert and Theodosia Smythe Rapp, he was born in Washington, DC and had lived in Atlanta, GA before moving to Aiken in 2004. He was a retired accountant/controller for several manufacturing companies. He was active in Boy Scouting for over fifty years and was a member of The Order of The Silver Beaver. He was a life-long stamp collector and while living in Atlanta, was very active in the Scottish Society and the German Club. In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by a sister, Virginia Hahn. He is survived by his wife, Julienne Bush Rapp, Aiken and a daughter, Susan Chuck Herbst, Aiken.
