Obituary of Jeffrey Fulmer

A Funeral Mass for Mr. Jeffrey Fulmer will be celebrated on Thursday, September 10, 2009 at 3pm at St. Mary Help of Christians Catholic Church, Aiken. Pallbearers will be: Ken JArvi, Hank Fulmer, Clay Fulmer, Tim Morris, Gary Goodwin and Bubba Meetze. Interment, with military honors will follow at Calvary Cemetery. The family will receive friends on Wednesday evening, 6-8pm at George Funeral Home & Cremation Center, 211 Park Ave. SW Aiken. Memorial donations may be directed to St. Mary Help of Christians Catholic Church Building Fund, PO Box 438, Aiken, SC 29802. Mr. Fulmer, 53, a life-long resident of Aiken County, died Sunday, September 6, 2009 at his residence after a long illness. He was the son of the late Charles Preston Fulmer and Dolores Esposito Fulmer. He was a veteran of the US Navy and was a communicant of St. Mary Help of Christians Catholic Church. He was employed as an operator at Bridgestone-Firestone and had previously worked at DuPont Westinghouse as a diesel mechanic and at Aiken County, where he repaired ambulances and police cars. He is survived by a brother, Anthony Fulmer, Aiken and a sister, Roxanne Bargeron Willis, Aiken and several nieces and nephews, Benjamin Willis, Tonya Jamie Whittle, Blake Willis, Claire Sean Wills, Joshua Edgar and Simone Fulmer. He is also survived by a great nephew, Jacob Whittle and a great niece, Eileen Wills.
