Obituary of Sarah Elaine Petrulovich

AIKEN, SC—Sarah Elaine Fodor Petrulovich entered into rest at home on Sunday, August 12, 2018.

Sarah was born June 16, 1940 in Steubenville, Ohio to the late Emil and Elaine Fodor. She had made Aiken, SC her home since 2002, having previously lived in Weirton, WV. Sarah worked for Weirton Steel Company for six years and was a church secretary for twenty four years at various churches to include Trinity Lutheran Church in Weirton and Memorial Baptist Church in Weirton. She loved taking care of her family, especially her grandsons, as well as taking day trips with her family and friends. She was a member of St. James Lutheran Church where she was a member of the Backpack Program, the Red Hatters, Women of ELCA, the Benevolence Committee, and the Congregational Community Committee.

Survivors include her beloved husband of 54 years, Robert F. Petrulovich; a daughter, Nanci L. Carter (Brian), Aiken, SC; and two grandsons, Jake Edison Carter and Chad Thomas Carter.

A memorial service will be celebrated at 11:00 AM on Saturday, August 25, 2018 at St. James Lutheran Church with Pastor Barry Antley officiating. The family will receive friends following the service at the church.
