AIKEN, SC- Eileen Mary Sheehan Miller passed away Wednesday, April 22, 2015 at the age of 83. Born October 14, 1931 in Huntington, NY, she was the daughter of the late Raymond Francis Sheehan and Mary Agnes Higgins Sheehan. Mrs. Miller was a secretary for Avon, St. John's Church, and the Connetquot School District in Bohemia, NY. She had made Clemmons, North Carolina her home for the past fifteen years where she was a faithful member of Holy Family Catholic Church. Eileen enjoyed reading, quilting, traveling, playing mahjong and cards with her friends. She loved spending time with her beloved dog Schatzie. In addition to her parents, Mrs. Miller was preceded in death by two brothers, Jack and James Sheehan; a grandson, Anthony Biancone; and a son-in-law, Sgt. Howard J. Plouff. Survivors include five daughters, Karen E. (Thomas) Henry, Aiken, SC; Kathleen M. Turecek, Ithaca, NY, Eileen C. (Patrick) Biancone, Riverhead, NY, Joyce M. Plouff, Pfafftown, NC, and Bethanne M. (Flo) Chavez, Rio Rancho, NM; two sons, James R. (Pam) Miller, Port St. Lucie, FL and Brian M. ( Judy Ann) Miller, Summerville, SC; eighteen grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren. A funeral mass will be celebrated at 1 PM on Friday, May 8, 2015 at Holy Family Catholic Church. The Reverend Stephen Hoyt presiding. The family will receive friends following the service at the church.
