Funeral services for Mrs. Eleanor ?Ellie? H. Peecook will be held Thursday, December 20, 2007 at 2pm at George Funeral Home & Cremation Center, 211 Park Ave, SW, Aiken. Interment will follow in Southlawn Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Wednesday from 6-8pm. Mrs. Peecook, 69, of Aiken, died Monday, December 17, 2007 at her residence. Born in Cleveland, OH she was the daughter of the late Alfred and Elise Degner Niek. She moved to Aiken in 1996 from Dublin, OH. She was a member of the Cedar Creek Women?s Club, Newcomers Club, Town and County Club, and the Red Hat Society. She also was a water aerobics instructor at Cedar Creek and USC Aiken. She is survived by her husband of fifty years, Joel M. Peecook, daughters, Katie Jack Roth, Aiken, Jennifer John Hyll, Pasadena, CA, son John Sandy Peecook, Dublin, OH, grandchildren, Michael Roth, Perry Roth, John Ayrton Hyll, Leah Peecook, and Brandon Peecook.
