Dear Family and Friends, on Sunday, December 28, 2008, we lost our beloved son, brother, nephew and grandson, Travis Peter Miller, age 23. Funeral services for Travis will take place on Tuesday, December 30, 2008 at 6pm at George Funeral Home & Cremation Center, 211 Park Ave. SW Aiken. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 5pm until the time of the service. Interment, at Calvary Cemetery, will be private for the family. Travis was born in Houston, TX and lived most of his life in Aiken. He attended St. Mary Help of Christians Elementary School and Aiken High School, graduating in 2003. He was employed at the UPS Store, and was preparing to take his National Registry Exam as an Emergency Medical Technician. Travis was predeceased by his maternal grandmother, Jean Ebenhack and his paternal grandparents, Rose and Warren Miller. He will be sorely missed by his parents: Robert and Ellen E. Miller, Aiken, SC; two brothers: Eben Miller, Raleigh, NC and Zeke Miller, Aiken, SC; his maternal grandfather: Don Ebenhack, Aiken, SC; four uncles: David Rebecca Ebenhack, Sapphire, NC, Peter Julie Ebenhack, Westminster, SC, Tom Mary Lou Miller, Scottsdale, AZ and Matt Colette Miller, Aiken, SC; an aunt: Mary Donnie Johnson, Steifeltown, SC; his significant other, Christine Harten, Aiken, SC and many cousins. A scholarship has been established in Travis's memory at the Aiken Technical College, Emergency Medical Technician Program.
