Mass of Christian Burial for Ms. Donna Lorraine Friedrich will be held Wednesday, October 6, 2004 at 11 AM at St. Mary Help of Christians Catholic Church, Aiken, SC. Interment will follow in Sweetwater Baptist Church Cemetery North Augusta, SC. The family will receive friends Tuesday, October 5, 2004 from 6 until 8 PM at George Funeral Homes, Historic Downtown Chapel, 211 Park Ave., SW, Aiken, SC. Donna, 54, of Graniteville, SC, life partner of twenty years to the late Ms. Jane Ell Floyd, died Sunday, evening, October 3, 2004 at University Hospital, Augusta, GA. Born in Augusta, GA, she had been a resident of Graniteville, SC, for the past fourteen years and was a former Hairstylist. She was a communicant of St. Mary Help of Christians Catholic Church and was an animal rights activist. Her mother, Irene S. Morgan, Augusta, GA; son, Jody Kelley, McCormick, SC; daughters, Judy Brassell, and Lynn Armitage, Martinez, GA; sister, Alice Weathers, Charlotte, NC; grandson, Aaron James Miller and nephews, Christopher Weathers and Travis Perry, survive. A brother, Forrest Edward Perry, preceded her in death. The family has asked that memorials be made to Chicago Children?s Advocacy Center, 1240 S. Damen Ave., Chicago, IL 60608.
