Memorial services for Mrs. Virginia "Ginny" F. Schumacker will be held at Wednesday, August 12, 2009 at 3pm at George Funeral Home & Cremation Center, 211 Park Ave, SW, Aiken. The family will receive friends after the service at Houndslake Country Club. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be directed to the American Cancer Society, 128 Stonemark Lane, Columbia, SC 29210. Mrs. Schumacker, 75, of Aiken, died Monday, August 10, 2009 at her home. Mrs. Schumacker was born in Bronx, NY and moved to Aiken in 1989 from New Jersey. Ginny was a member of Houndslake Country club. She loved to play golf and do needle point. She is survived by her husband of fifty six years, Thomas "Tom" Schumacker, sons, Thomas "Tom" Sue Schumacker, Richard Elisa Schumacker, both of Long Valley, NJ; Matthew Tracey Schumacker, Hudson, OH; and seven grandchildren.
