Graveside services for Mrs. Pauline "Pat" Thomas will take place on Tuesday, May 10, 2011 at 1pm at Graniteville Cemetery. GEORGE FUNERAL HOME & CREMATION CENTER, Aiken, is assisting the family. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be directed to Aiken Rescue, Inc., PO Box 870, Aiken, SC, 29802. Mrs. Thomas, 81, of Aiken, died Tuesday, May 3, 2011 at Aiken Regional Medical Centers. A lifelong resident of Aiken County, she was the daughter of the late John Henry Fulmer and Etheline Douglas Fulmer. Pat was a member of Calvary Baptist Church and a private bookkeeper. She enjoyed working on crafts and doing needlework. In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by her husbands, Robert E. Peebles and Clarence "Rudy" Thomas, step-son, Timothy Thomas. Pat is survived by her sons, Richard Gaye Peebles, Aiken; Michael Wayne Thomas, Warrenville, SC; step-daughter, Sandra Dillard Perrin, Dorchester, SC; four grandchildren, seven great grandchildren, and niece, Virginia Jensen.
