A memorial service for Beverly Mellotte Macomber will be held on Tuesday, November 22, 2005 at 2pm at Millbrook Baptist Church Chapel, Aiken. Memorial donations may be made to Regency Hospice 105 Summerwood Way, Aiken, SC 29803. Mrs. Macomber, 71, of Aiken, died Sunday November 20, 2005 at her daughter?s residence. The daughter of the late Theodore ?Pappy? and Anna P. ?Moo? Fresh Mellotte, she was born in Millville, NJ and had lived in Weaverville, NC for 28 years before moving to Aiken 7 years ago. At different times in her life, she had also lived in Canada, Germany, California and Florida. She was a retired dental hygienist, but will always be remembered as a loving mother and grandmother. A gifted artist and pianist, she served as church pianist to many churches. Beverly also enjoyed traveling with her husband, Frank Gair Macomber, IV before his death in 1970. In addition to her husband and parents, she is predeceased by her sister, Shirley Bumgarner. Mrs. Macomber is survived by her son, Bryan Randall Macomber, Asheville, NC, two daughters; Michele Rich and Cecile Macomber, both of Aiken, five grandchildren; Lauren Macomber, Teddy Rich, Hunter Macomber, Ella Rich and Abigail Macomber. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
