Funeral services for Mrs. Yvonne ?Pete? Woodward Fox will be held Friday, October 3, 2003 at 11 AM at Shiloh Baptist Church, Aiken, SC, with Pastor Louie Anderson officiating. Mrs. Fox will be placed in the church at 10 on Friday. Interment will follow in Aiken Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends Thursday, October 2, 2003 from 6 until 8 PM at George Funeral Homes, Historic Downtown Chapel, 211 Park AVE., SW, Aiken, SC. Mrs. Fox, 76, of Aiken, SC, wife of the late Trudell P. ?Duck? Fox, died Tuesday, September 30, 2003 at her residence. Born in Warrenville, SC, a daughter of the late Lee Harvey and Osceola Elizabeth Woodward, she had been a resident of Aiken, SC, since 1955 where she along with he late husband ran Fox Shoe Repair. She was a member of Shiloh Baptist Church. Sons, Yates Fox and Robert Mark Fox, both of Aiken, SC; sisters, Mabel Fox, Evans, GA and Mattie Ready, Trenton, SC; and grandchildren, Colt and Skylar Fox, survive. Two sisters and one brother preceded her in death. The family has requested memorials in memory of Mrs. Fox be made to the Tri-Development Center, P.O. Box 698, Aiken, SC 29802.
