Funeral services for Mr. Bobby Gene Kingery will be held Monday, August 1, 2005 at 10 AM at George Funeral Homes, Southside Chapel, 3175 Whiskey Rd., Aiken, SC with Rev. Dr. Rodney K. Powell officiating. Interment will be private. The family will receive friends Sunday, July 31, 2005 from 6 until 8 PM at George Funeral Homes, Southside Chapel, 3175 Whiskey Rd., Aiken, SC. Mr. Kingery, 72, of Aiken, SC, died Friday, July 29, 2005 at his home. Born in Pulaski, GA, a son of the late Thomas Eddie Kingery, Sr. and Lola Irene Bagby Kingery, Bobby had been a resident of Aiken, SC since 1966. He proudly served his country in the United States Army where he obtained the rank of Sergeant. He earned his undergraduate degree from Georgia Teachers College and his Master?s in Nuclear Engineering from the University of Virginia. Bobby retired from Westinghouse Savannah River Site after nearly twenty-eight years where he had been a Nuclear Engineer. He is survived by his wife of fifty-one years, Ruth Miller Kingery, children, Michael Kingery, Mary Claudette Orlando, FL, Lisa Kingery Herrmann, Steven Aiken, SC, and Kevin Kingery, Diane Aiken, SC; brother, Thomas Eddie Kingery, Jr., Statesboro, GA; sister, Beryl Cashore, Statesboro, GA; grandchildren, Chris Kingery, Rylee Herrmann, McKenna Herrmann, Daniel Kingery and David Kingery, and a great-granddaughter, Maren Kingery.
