Mrs. Melba Bolt Graveside funeral services for Mrs. Melba Bolt will be held Friday, May 24, 2002 at 2:00pm at St. Paul United Methodist Church Cemetery, New Ellenton, with Rev. Randy Taylor officiating. The family will receive friends Thursday, May 23, 2002 from 6-8 PM at George Funeral Homes, Southside Chapel, 3175 Whiskey Rd., Aiken. Pallbearers will be B.J. Bolt, Shawn Bolt, Dylan Bolt, T.C. Bolt, Van Oakley and Perry Oakley. Mrs. Bolt, 72, of New Ellenton, SC, passed away Tuesday, May 21, 2002 at Aiken Regional Medical Centers, Aiken. A daughter of the late Alvin D. & Estelee Scott Shearer, she was born and had lived in Anderson, SC before coming to New Ellenton, SC, in 1953. She was a retired telephone operator for DuPont at the SRS. She was member of St. Paul United Methodist Church, New Ellenton, She was a Past Matron of The Order of The Eastern Star, New Ellenton and was also a member of the Ladies of The Nobles of the Aiken County Shriners Club. She is survived by her husband, C.H. ''Red'' Bolt, New Ellenton,; three sons, Scotty, William R. and Tony C. Bolt, all of Aiken; a daughter, Becky Dinkins, Lexington, SC; and a sister, Audrey S. Turner, Anderson, SC. Mrs. Bolt is also survived by four grandchildren and two great-grandchildren. Memorials may be made to St. Paul United Methodist Church Building Fund, 600 Main St. New Ellenton, SC 29809
